It is that simple. The fuel lines are rubber and the engine only has to go up a little to allow enough room for the snub to be slipped off while the snub housing is unbolted.

The 034 snub mount is made of the hardest material of all the Snub mounts.

Another choice would be the Stern snub - http://www.ringer-racing.com/product...&categoryId=18

I can actually ship those out the same day you order and send them out USPS priority mail in a 5x5x4 box so you get them in 2-3 days.

I also sell the 034 and Apikol mounts, but those get drop shipped from my supplier.

For the Stern one...one pic shows a round hole and the other shows a D shaped hole. I assume I need the round one for my 1999 model. Yes?

On second look..I guess the D-shaped one is for the B6 chassis.

Stern vs. O34 in qualaty. Go! Is harder necessarily better, especially in a daily driver sense? My shift **** is like a ******* vibrator when I'm coasting in second.

The softer material would be better for a daily driver and the harder for a car that is pushed hard all of the time.

Mike,

Mine is a daily driver...should I go with the Stern or something else? Obviously, you're somewhat biased, but I'm certain you can give me an objective opinion.

I just want the bump to go away, and I'd still like to maintain a smooth ride...and hopefully not have to replace this thing for a good long while...if ever.
