I have the same thing, but I think its just the power snapping off. When I'm under acceleration and just pop off the gas rather than a smooth removal I get a little shutter. Its nothing violent, (but this is the only car I've experienced it with). So maybe its just normal. It seems espescially prevalant in the lower gears and seems correlated to RPM. Higher RPM/more jerk.

Yea maybe its just normal but its the one thing that slightly annoys me about the car.

The engine mounts are good, I didnt check the snub mount yet. My shifter doesnt really move much at all when I put load on the engine.

It should be very minor or you need new/better shocks. (If we're talking about the car itself, as opposed to the shifter.)

Anybody have a DIY on the installation of a snub mount?

Easy way to do it is to unbolt your engine mounts, unbolt the Snub mount housing, lift the motor with a floor jack and slip the snub mount off.

That doesn't exactly sound easy.

"easy" is all relative. The NOT easy way would be to use an engine hoist to do the lifting instead of a floor jack or pull the motor completely, easy-ER would be to find a garage/tuning shop that will install **** like this and pay them to do it.

It's pretty easy to do if you're doing the TB at the same time like I am.

So is it really just unbolt mounts, jack up the engine and switch the **** out? No fuel/brake lines that need disconnecting or anything? If its that simple theres no way I'm paying someone to do that.
