Default New mod!

Headliner rewrap! Well, headliner, rear deck and belt trim.
Looking for an estimate on how much material to get. Trim and headliner are for sure. I include the pillars and sunroof slide in the headliner category. Rear deck may happen, I'll probably order extra so I can mess up.
So I need an estimate on amount and a brief how to/lessons learned.
Pretty please!

i believe 3 yards is more than enough. get what you want to wrap with, heavy duty spray adhesive (general purpose works), sharp knife and a 2x4 or something like it for easy of cutting. there's a diy on audiworld on how to fix the rear deck speakers which also tells you how to remove the rear deck. after the deck is removed, you need to take the seat belt off under the seat, speaker covers off and the center brake light. speaker covers are held on by PITA clips that you just have to muscle off. make sure it's not cold so you don't break the plastic tabs. don't worry if you lose of break a couple clips. for the headliner, remove everything you see touching it and then it should come down.

Lol not ten for sure. My rear deck used about 4" short of one yard by itself. 3 will probably do it but trust me, get four. Spray a little too much adhesive or don't let it set up long enough and it'll soak through the material and ruin that piece. Use the leftovers to wrap miscellaneous parts like I did - rear ashtray cover, e-brake sleeve, console coin tray liners, etc...

I've been thinking about doing this. What material are you gonna go with, Kayak?

Its this silver and black plaid stuff. I'm going to take pics when I go to Joanne's. It says metallic, hopefully it doesn't look too rice. I can't find anything else thats as close as it is to what I'm looking for; black, grey and silver plaid, like burberry.
