Would only get worse as the rpms built and the backpressure, accordingly built.

If it's one cylinder, and coil moving didn't make the missfire follow, and sometimes it changes cylinders...then, I'd have to say fuel pressure. One cylinder may have a slightly dirty injector, so the lower fuel pressure makes that one "show" the problem the most. Under load all of them momentarily show it, until it just runs lean.

Just taking shots in the dark here, odd problem.

I'm just so confused about it all.. I have ran fuel injector cleaner many of times and don't know what to do now. I might change the cat and clean the injectors.. Any suggestions?

As crappy as that scenario is, that would be my lead as well.

So it sounds like you didnt replace the plugs then cause you couldnt find them? Try moving the plugs around.. And when you say sometimes its random cylinders missing and not just one, do you mean you are getting the random/multiple code or are you are getting different individual cylinder codes?

Well I just got mine scanned tonight and I had a misfire in cylinder 2. So I found a old coil in my trunk and it's running fine now...Hope it stays that way!
Thank you for your help!
