Default New engine codes

1997 2.8 A4

3 Faults Found:
16520 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S2: Malfunction in Circuit
P0136 - 92-00 - Unknown Error Elaboration
18014 - Rough Road/Engine Torque Signal from ABS: Electrical Malfunction
P1606 - 92-00 - Unknown Error Elaboration
16685 - Cylinder 1: Misfire Detected
P0301 - 93-00 - Unknown Error Elaboration

Did some reading up, the abs could be a bad module. I dont care about that much but the light is annoying.
Im not sure what would cause the other two. I just put new plugs in. Used to have 1 and 3 misfires, replaced the icm, and got a misfire a week later. Could the o2 sensor just be a result of the misfire? Is the malfunction in circuit just a catch all? Or a wiring problem?

I cleared the codes, cel went away, but the abs and brake light stayed on even though it said no codes found.

I've cleared them three times. Im assuming the o2 code is just a result of the misfire and and the exhaust being too rich. My car runs a little rough sometimes, generally right off idle. I've got my emissions test coming up this thursday, **** better not carry on and fail me. Might have to dump a little denatured alcohol in the tank........

good luck with the test

in mass they can tell you cleared codes and you must drive atleast 250 miles after the recet. if cell is on it is an auto fail

i have had 02 code a had to replace it.

if you clean your iac that shoud take away most of your ruff idle

I thought about cleaning the iac, might make pulling out a little smoother too. Talked to a buddy at a shop today, said don't worry about anything, but emissions have to pass, nothing he can do. Car runs ok for 140,000 miles, but cleared the code today and it came back real quick........
