New central locking pump issues
I'm in need of a little advice.
My central locking pump went bad so I went and pulled on from a wrecked Audi at a nearby junkyard. My central locking pump was part# 8L0862257B and the new one is part# 8L0862257E which I believe is fine from what I read they are interchangeable.
The issue is I plugged in the new pump and after about ten minutes the doors unlock and the dome lights turn on. After about another ten minutes the alarm goes off. I scanned with vagcom ans it came up with just "01366 - Open due crash sensor".
Any advice please?

My kid's car (a 97 A4 Quattro, 2.8 V6) had a weak failing battery, and the car also randomly locked/unlocked itself and rolled down the windows, also had the alarm going off for no apparent reason. Seemed possessed... Replaced the battery, no troubles since.. How old is the battery?

Battery is only 6 months old and in good condition...
I read somewhere that the code is from the dealership testing the crash sensors and the locks, lights, and alarm do that ... I just don't know how to get it to stop.
