New In-Car Entertainment
Hi guys, I just bought myself these products for my Audi A4 Quattro 2.8
- Fusion 6.5" rear speakers
- Fusion 5.25" front speakers
- 2x Fusion 600W Active Subwoofer
- Flip Up DVD Player
I have removed the front dashboard and stuff but now I'm trying to figure out how to remove the inside of the doors to excess the speakers.
Also I read lots about the rear panel to get to the rear speakers and I still have not figure out how to remove it.
It just seems so frustrating. If you would kindly help me out, that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Not exactly true. Using Autoleads SAK-1104 adapters allows 5.25" speakers to fit the front doors without modification.

^This. I have these adapters and they will let you fit a 5.25" speaker up to at least a 2.2" mounting depth. Still trying to find a usable adapter for the rear door speakers, though - seems everybody is focused on the front door and rear deck with no info on the rear doors...

Front Speakers Mounted and Rear Speakers are wired
I have fitted the 5.25" speakers to the front so don't worry about that.
The rear deck is the part where I am still stuck at. I have tried pushing it up. Pushing and pulling it out. And some said to remove the rear brake lights but I can't see any screws to remove it. All I see is a connector. I do not want to break the rear deck haha.
By the way thanks for all the nice replies.

Sorry I didn't get to reply quickly. But the thing that was holding onto the rear deck was sealant which wasn't even suppose to be there. The rear deck has actually been broken from previous owner maybe. So there's sealant everywhere. Besides that, I have cleaned it up and fitted all speakers and wiring is all done neatly. Once again thanks for the tips and advice.
