When I still had my B5, mine got smashed in small fender-bender so it sounded like a jet-engine, then it died.

Oh and also, this is what the air filter looked like when I changed it out last week...

...and it got a "tick" on the vehicle inspection report I had done before I bought it. Think I should be asking for my money back from the inspection?
