Hello from Sunny SoCal.
Just got an Audi. Sweettttt 97. Buts its missing something in the interior. I think it was an armrest at one point but the previous orwner didn't know or have it. Let me know if I am wrong and its should be just a plastic cap on there.

haha mine is missing the armrest too. But in that open spot there is an ashtray and a cover for the non-existent obdII connector. And then a lid to cover them both.

the hole is for the ashtray, but it appears that you have no hole for an armrest.....

I guess some of the '97's came without an armrest....weird

 

i have an arm rest for sale if somebody is interested. Coming from a 2000 S4. Its black.
