OOOOOOOOOO, how much u lay down for that ($$$$) ?

and where did u pick it up, i was thinking of putting an exhaust on my 2.8, but im a noob with exhausts.

could i replace my stock muffler with that and leave the stock down pipe or do u have to get a new down pipe?

i want that SOOO bad

u can use the stock piping. but you would want to remove the resonator so it sounds better.

that specific one i got is 222$ Magnaflow 14862 ive seen others like the 14816 sound pretty good on the a4. and its alot cheaper than the 14862

i dont want it to sound loud tho, just a nice "german" sound, plus i still want to be able to get in at night without waking my parents or the neighbors (lol).

which magnaflow is best for this, or how can i get a nice sound thats not too loud?

i think before i get this done, i want to buy a new downpipe... or should i just have the shop custom fab me 1 that will bolt onto the stock cat?

Edit: oh and if i get a downpipe, which should i get what size and blah blah blah..

im going to get 2.5" piping to the muffler so should i get the same size dp or go bigger?

i have that one... and you will DEFINATELY need a resonator for it man. trust your fellow AF member here. it will save you money if you get it before and have them put it up when you get it all done.

I have the top link one. it was red so i just sanded off the paint cause that would look tacky i think idk. but also they said it was good i atleast sanded off the tips cause it would be tougher to weld on the paint.

but for real, get something along those lines. i have it and it reduced highway drone quite a bit. its still loud dont get me wrong, but it sounds a lot more like a german car should be. (still louder than my complete borla cat back was)

i would use the same dp and go with the 2.5" piping all the way back from the cats to that magnaflow muffler. thats what i did and removed the resonator. trust me you are going to want to put in an aftermarket resonator or something tho
