New to 1.8T
#92
Well the snow is back for a day or two. I have lots to do on the A4, brakes all around, struts on all 4, wheels 16inch with tires, still looking for fog lights. She's running good shifts a little hard going into 3rd. Still love driving her.

Well I can no longer say I am new to 1.8T, it has been sold to a lucky college kid. I am now a prowed owner of a 08 A4 2.0T. I cleaned out my garage this past weekend sold BMW k1100LT Audi A4 and 2008 Ford F150 all in one weekend. Out of all I will miss the A4 the most, spent alot of time in her and taking care of the things that needed attention. Now with the new one comming to the garage I will give her the same amount of attention that she requires.

Almost one week has gone by with A4 2.0 cannot say enough good things. Love the F1 style paddle shifting, I think there are alot of people out there that have no idea on what these cars are capeable of doing. I still have alot of learning and research todo. First is how to jack it up properly without destroing the under carriage.

Update with 2008
Ok now with 84k on the odometer she runs great. Very little oil consumption, shifting is smooth, love the paddles on the stearing wheel. It is very hard keeping my foot out of the floor, the A4 wants to run. Going to be going to Maine in a couple of weeks this will be a great drive. The dealer ship has an A8 on there floor what a f**king great car. Wondering what should be my first MOD for this car?.

Going on day four and no engine light. I also mimicked getting fuel for a test(passed). She seems to be idling a little smoother also, FYI before engine light close fuel cap came up on the screen. The fuel cap was on and tight. Well winter is coming closer and quicker that we think i'm ready.

Ok all now just turned 91k on the odometer and now I have the dreaded idle issue when engine is cold. some say torque converter NOT, some say PCV NOT, some one actualy said OIL are they nuts or what. To me it sounds like something electrical, or censor of some type. It has to do with the air temp out side and the temp of the engine.
