so i got an 1999 a4 1.8t quattro manual and i blew my tranny my gears are fine but my synchros are shot should i just get a used tranny or a rebuild kit????
im looking for pretty much the cheapest option.

as far as i know, any 5spd rebuild kit you'd be able to get won't come with synchros, and buying them seperately would far outweigh the cost of a used tranny. (not to mention be a huge pain in the ***). I'd check the classifieds here, on vortex, and the zine for part outs. Good luck!

 

Look around for a junkyard Audi with a good transmission!
