well im looking for the next thing to mod onmy car. i have a 1997 audi a4 quattro, 2.8. i have already done a cheap exhaust mod, and put an air intake on, now im looking for my next thing to mod. i need somethign that will make a big difference in the way it looks or sounds or drives for 400 dollars or less. if anyone can help me it would mean alot.

one more thing, i cant do anything too crazy, and i already looking at rims. that is already into consideration.

 

Lower it. I got a sport suspension set up used from an AZ member and H&R sport springs brand new for ~$325.

yeah, i cut off 1 of the mufflers and put in a srtaight pipe. and that+the air intake sounds pretty good. i did it myself and it was pretty easy since my stepdad had an electric welder. i just want something that will really make it stand out. those springs sound like a good idea, but im definetly still taking suggestions

 

just buy a borla muffler for like $150 and weld it in place of the stocker since your going for noise.

I got the springs from www.purems.com and for the shocks just keep an eye on craigslist, the classifieds here and at www.audizine.com. S4 shocks will also work (so will the springs since youre 2.8 but may not give you the drop youre looking for).

 

you should de-badge and switch ur headlights with halos and switch your tail lights

 

but arent new halo headlights and new tail lamps really expensive? and how much louder will that borla muffler make my car? cus i dont want it a whole lot louder, but i really am looking for something to change the tone. and debadging it does sound like a good idea. i just like the audi symbol, so i would leave that on there
