Need Some Ideas For Bang-For-Buck Mods

Wrong. The R1 is like a glorified 710N and works like any other 100% recirc bypass valve/DV. An 004 or Splitter is the way to go if you must have the woosh sound.

^^^ Well a friend of mine has the 007 and it blew in 3 weeks of chipping. Of course he got a new one exchanged but also I've heard they need maintaincence or w/e. My 710 ripped apart in hours of driving. I spent $60 @ the stealership for it. I got my R1 for $100 from APR so I love it for the price. Maybe cuz it sucked *** having a blown DV and I was able to get the R1 is a rather quick timely manner. Besides, I'm sure I hear more people recommend the 007 so I like my R1 but I don't glorify it. Bailey's never really gets brought up much so I don't know how they are

You might want to re-read my post. I said the 004/spltr is what he should get if he wants the "woosh". APR is my personal fave when it comes to a 100% re-c DV

007's don't "blow". That was a misdiagnosis. They are indestructable. It's a metal housing, a metal piston, and a metal spring and a seal. They need re greased every now and then. They are all the same, just slightly different design depending on manufacturer. I was saying an R1 is a diaphragm valve like the 710/710N but in a more beefy design= glorified 710N.
I must be blind, where did you post that?

Dunno, maybe shoulda specified more. But that's what I mean. The R1 was period & seperate. Just a misunderstanding so its cool

i've heard alot of people having vvme's and no problems. I was going to do it eventually... from what i've heard they seem cheap from the packaging, but they work like a charm. and for that price? not bad
