What tire widths are you looking to get?

Read up on the potential perils of staggered wheel widths on a Quattro car before you buy a set.

honestly i would get whatever width i needed to fit. im not against stretching tires. and ill have to look up that imthedevil i remember reading something about it at one time but there was so much discussion over it i couldnt decide whether it was bad to do. so many people said there was not a problem while an equal number said it was a big problem and that itll eat bearings and all sorts of other things ill have to check again. thanks for the heads up.

Go 18x8 with ET35 in front and ET20 in the back. The rear lip will be .6" deeper for a mild stagger.

what if im trying to get some 8.5s i like form an function, and sqeezing some wide wide wheels in there would be better for me. and you hit it on the head, im looking for a deep lip. so if anyone knows a deep lipped wheel let me know.

i did a little more reasearch...on this matter. just trying to see if anyone else has read this, about the rolling diameter of the tires you use on the staggered set if you were to get a set, if you run an 18x8.5 with a 225/40 on it your at .08% change or something but if you run that same tire size on say an 18x9.5...you should be good? i did a a lot of googling on this and this is what i have read.

You will be fine running a staggered setup as long as the tires are under 4% different in diameter. So 225/40 on 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 would be perfectly fine. You could do 225/40 in the rear and 215 or 205 /40 in the front and be fine. Or if you don't want staggered stretch you could do something like 215 or 225 /40 front, 245 or 255 /35 rear. Depending how low you go, offsets between 20 and 30 would look good
