Default Need help with turbo timer install

So im about to install my turbo timer. I understand that there are a few wires which go to the handbrake, ignition wire, 12v constant, 12v switched and finally a wire somewhere in the ecu im guessing where it could take o2 sensor readings from for the narrowband. The only thing i cant figure out is what source to use for the 12v constant and where to find the o2 wire. Does anybody have any ideas?

I haven't personally installed a timer, but this might help you out.

You must have upgraded to something nice! Because it's totaly unnecessary to use a turbo timer w/stock turbo.

haha do you consider a ko4 nice? :P but a turbo timer would still help with the stock turbo. Any turbo's life will be extended if you take care of it properly.

but all a tt does is continue to flow fluids to cool it, if you don't beat the **** out of yours in the last few minutes before turning it off and just idle a minute or 2 before turning it off.... same thing

It's not really gonna make a difference if you do 3k mi. oil changes. The oil just cooks a little longer in the turbo without it a tt, and thats only if you are driving the **** out of it the last few mins- like turbo kraut says. But I know how it is a feel-good mod for you, so more power to ya. Half the fun is explaining to people why your engine is still running.

i have a tt sitting in my garage, and a ebc and an mbc.... just never felt the need to put them on, even with the gtrs..... no when i am not working a million hours i will get that stuff installed, but working a million hours is going to pay for more goodies..... either built motor or a bike..... probably a bike first

Guys believe me i know that a turbo timer is not necessary but its a $50 mod that will extend your turbo's life....why not? Alright so from those write ups i understand the 30 post is a good 12v constant, right? But where do i find the o2 sensor wire in the ecu? Thanks fro all the help.
