Need help for some rally ideas for my 2.8 A4
I bought a 1998 a4 Quattro 2.8 5 speed.
I brought it out to the beach and fell in love with driving off road.
Is there any suspension that can keep stock ride height, just more stiff?
Or a spacer of some sort?? The suspension on this car is so soft my 2 12s are making it sag..
I hit a small rock on the beach and destroyed my oil pan, so I'm building a skid plate now..
What about wheel spacers? Would the extra width help at all?
Im new to off reading so I'm sure I'm missing a lot, any helpful information

If you're really serious about rally/off-road racing, lose the system.
For a skit plate, look into Dieselgeek's Panzer plate or Evolution Import's Thor plate. Both have been proven to pay for themselves many times over.
Suspension-wise, it doesn't sound like your car came with the sport package, correct? You could try S4 shocks and springs. They would provide the stiffness you're after but WOULD lower the ride height slightly. You could also just look into buying generic springs with a higher spring rate.

He also built and drove the 4.2 swapped B5 that bricked Pike's Peak this year.
