Need help asap
so guys today on my way home my car keeps on blowing the hose from the TB to the SMIC off when its under load like punching it to the floor and as soon as i let go of the accelerator the hose pops out. i just got my pc16 file and pulls crazy good but as soon as there is a big load and i change gears boom hose comes out, i also feel like this hesitation at high rpms right before it pops it out.
am thinking maybe dv valve not opening right or its to tight? i have a adjustable Dv with the little screw on the top , i have it basically default which is as lose as possible but not super lose.

as for my hesitation problem at high rpms well it was my spark plugs the gap was set at .45 autozone says that they are .40 oem i then set them at .28 and ran like a champ at high rpms but suck so bad at idle it well misfire and i got check engine light, i then regap them to .40 and so far this has worked the best but still a little hesitation but then again am using some random *** spark plugs that dont belong on that audi gotta buy the oem or better replacement lol, and i gotta get rid of that stupid catalytic that restricts my power at high end so bad.

Hose clamps don't have a torque spec.. He was obviously just saying make sure all the clamps are tightened down good.

yea they are right those clamps need to be tight i got rid of the cheap claps the car comes with and when with those heavy duty ones with lock they work like a charm no more sliding out.

Ahhhh....so do you call that torque to yield?
On bolts where it's really impractical to get a T wrench on 'em, I've always gone to PDT (Pretty damn tight).

That's what I did with the caliper carrier bolts when I did my brake upgrade. My torque wrench is too long to fit in there so I just put some locktite on the bolts and tightened them until I was happy. That was two years ago
