Default Need to find new 17mm caliper bolts

Hello,

I did a front brake job on my 1999 A4Q 2.8 and stripped the 17mm caliper
bolt hole on the hub spindle and the bolt was shot also. I can't find an online source for the bolt. I believe it is M12X1.5X35. Will repair hub with Helicoil repair kit, but need to know if bolt is metric fine or metric coarse.

Thanks,

Have you tried going to a dealership and asking them? That's usually what I do.

Don't want to drive 140 miles round trip for 2 bolts.

Give um a call and ask them if they will ship them. Or just ask them if they can explain if the bolts are fine or course, then go to someplace like Home Depot or Loew's and see if they carry it.

You can always call up mike at Purems to see if he can get one and ship it to you.
