well if there is filter oil it will cause the maf to go bad. you need to run a dry filter wiith out oil

yeah, oiled filters will cause the MAF to break. the oil coats the filament and it can't read right. but there are plenty of dry filters out there

I heard another rumor that when you turn off the engine, it will send alot of power to the wire to burn all eventual oil or crap that's stuck.

Update on the boost:
Yesterday and today the car has been boosted as in the original problem, fluctuating boost pressure. No sign of overboost whatsoever :S

Edit: this was right after a service @ Audi, but i told them to leave the ECU alone, due to the chipptuning.

I have now used the N75J for a few days. There still seems to be overboost at full throttle at about 2500rpm and there might sometimes be a tad of fuelcut for a millisecond or two. But the boost goes down to 1.1 and holds steady. I will install a boostvalve at boostvalve.com to regulate the max boost at about 1.2-1.3 so it wont go any further and overboost.

you dont even have to run the n75 when you have a mbc, which is why i suggested it in the first place, saves money trying to mess with n75's

@ moxin: crap, i hoped for it to work

@ chaos: yeah, we know, but it feels good to know that the n75 regulates the boost a little.

Edit: my main problem right now is NOT an overboost, but a fluctuating pressure instead :S

so your boost fluctuates? did your bov comes with different springs? if so, change it to a stiffer spring, if not add a shim or two in there, that usually solves the fluctuating

Well yes I would want the boost properly regulated. Which the New N75 valve seems to do.....altough it overcompensates when the turbo are working under ideal conditions and probably activates the knock sensors when giving to much boost. (Will try to get that verified with the Diag tools if possible)

So in part it actually works...but........

This particular problem are on boostvalve.com:s homepage described aswell.

Edit:
PS: You couple the boostvalve in parallell with the N75 just to regulate the Max boost. Which was my main concern. The fluctuations have so far been taken care of with the new N75.

running them in parallel seems to cause more problems than running just the mbc and leaving the n75 plugged in only electrically. the mbc will regulate the boost by itself.

No, i had that problem before and it was fixed with a new N75. I've had the DV for some time now and i've never hadproblems with it.

@ moxin: Ok, but shouldn't the program limit the boost? How much boost do you get?

My car's acting all strange. Everything is happening from time to time. One time (less often nowadays tho) the car overboosts and gets fuelcut, the other time it fluctuates, just like before and today i wanted to test it, so i gave it full throttle and the boost and rpm's was stopped at a certain "value" and the car started vibrating (I think I was around 3-4000 rpm) and nothing happened. Then, after shutting it down and driving a little bit, the boost was fluctuating again.
