Talking my winter project

so i know its been done before. but im starting to price it all out and i can do it right for less than i thought. so my 98 b5 2.8l 30v is going under the knife to be fitted with a 4.2 and with any luck (and maybe a breakfrom the misses) a g4 by pes.
i also considered ripping the 20vt 5cyl out of my old 5000cs that in its good days made a honest 380whp and rebuilding it to be around 500whp.
i love the idea of the g2 on my 30v(she has 118,102 at 11:04am est gaskets and timing at oldskool ind in march 09 so she would be okay on boost) but i feel the need to be slightly diff. but that g2 sounds sexy and i do have a ton into my mistress's 30v all ready,

im just seeing what everyone else thinks

hood now seen in flat black and my hood had a run in wth the *** end of my girls commander. (i was on the couch) and i got bored when i was fixing said damage, didn't messure just started cutting ( the hood was scrap and i never have done anybody work so i figured my trashed hood was a good starting place to learn) and it dropped my extrenal manifold temp 15 plus degrees comming off the track. and when its about drivability daily and function on the track it works.
