Sweet deal I know how you feel about them not being exactly what you hoped for but that is a good deal and those (along with the B7 split five-spoke) are among the nicest OEM wheels that Audi offers. I would call it a win and on a silver car they'll look great.

Erik, I hear you on what you said too. I actually debated pulling the trigger on my TSWs just because I could think of other things (car-related and not) to use the money on but the price was excellent, I had no wheels other than my winter steelies and snow tires, and well, screw it lol - responsibilities were handled and I knew that finding another set, even at a lower price, still wasn't gonna make me feel better lol so I grabbed them up and have been thrilled every minute since. You're doing it right by waiting for just the right set though (and I feel like I also grabbed the right set). And you can always have new shoes for the prospective fall meet

The idea has been mentioned and I'm sure it'll happen even if it's on a smaller scale and similar to the Dinosaur meet last fall - any excuse to get together right? I wanna talk with everyone at the meet next month to start getting a feel for who might be able to make it.

Yeah, I'm dumping a lot of $$ to try and be ready by the 22nd it's more of a personal goal than a NY goal! But at the same time I want to look good in NY!

CCA4 don't get too excited! So last night the plan was Oil change, Swap wheels, change hoses for my turbo problem. On the way to the shop I stopped by Advanced Auto and go to buy the 1/8 hose for the car and they don't even sell it... so then to the shop! So jack up the car to change to oil everything is fine until trying to remove the filter SOB will not come off. So we call NAPA and have them deliver a filter wrench so we can get it off, they say about 20 mins. Ok well I was like might as well do the wheels now! So I set the new wheel one and WTF is this crap?

So I call a couple guys form the forums (thanks again!) and am dumb founded do to I watched these come off of an A6 (2003) so there is no reason by it's not a direct bolt on! So after many sent pictures and anger issues, we pretty much decided the other guys car must of had adapters and he didn't know it... So then Napa shows up with my wrench go to try it and the SOB still won't come off... F this removed the coolant reservoir stabbed it with a screw driver and got that bitch right off! Finished my oil change and by some luck moved on to finding a loose hose my boost problem!!! Then had to remove the head off of a ford escort and I'll tell you that was easier than my oil change... Can nothing go right like I want with this car?! The wheels do look good on the car so I'm hoping to find adapters but am worried cuz these wheels are already looking like they will be poking out! So if I put on an adapter how much more will they stick out?

And the 2x4 is cuz I can't fit a jack under the car without driving up on it!
