I punctured a hole in my oil pan and replaced the oil pan. Now when i drive my car tons and tons of smoke pours out the back. The car makes this shaking sound like a maracca and i think it is the bearing spinning inside the turbo. I think when i put the hole in my oil pan it spun the bearing in my turbo.
Am i correct? if so, where can i find a cheap replacement turbo not an upgrade. i believe it is the k03 turbo

 

What year is your car? Is the smoke black or white? Does it smell like oil or coolant burning? Does it happen all the time? Only when starting? Cold and hot?

 

2001 audi a4 Quattro. The smoke is white and I think it smells like oil but I'm not sure. It happens after the car has been running for more than five minutes. Also there is more smoke when accelerating.

 

Check the intercooler piping for oil, I just bought a car with the exact same symptoms minus the noise and I drained a solid half litre of oil out of there.
