MY Missfire TSB
Vehicle: 98 Audi A4 Quattro 1.8t AEB ; Giac chip, Forge DV, 14lb of boost
Problem: Misfire under boost conditions, occurred shortly after tune up, no CEL.
Diagnostics: Pull spark plugs and check gap, should be around .028.
Repair: re-gap spark plugs to .028, (use a wire type gaping tool to prevent platinum damage)
Notes: If problem persists check fuel pressure, Diverter Valve, Waste gate actuator, CEL's and as always the forum. Hope this helps someone because i've seen a lot of people with this problem go unanswered
