Do you have a link for the ecs tool kit you got for $50. If you don't need it anymore I'll buy it from you for $25, plus ship! Both of my sons' A4s need new TBs. One is a 1.8, and one is a 2.8, 12v sohc. Will those tools of yours work on my application?

Ummmm i got it off ebay, and i am most likely keeping it. they sell on ebay for 70 new (not ecs some off brand) and that tool would only work for the 12v

Well thank god i decided to double check i believe my timing may be off. it's all lined up and then i'll put the tensioner on and apply tension and the timing gears will move a little bit.

Here are pictures to show what i am talking about! I do have a buddy who works at lexus and has worked on audis come by tomm to check it out but i thought i'd ask you.

after when i tried redoing the timing to make sure everything was good.

Now after all these pictures i did rotate the motor clockwise and there were no sounds. just the compression building and letting off. From all the motors i have timed they would never be off like this (although someone could of made there own timing marks hence why i ask you guys

let me know what you think.

These might be able to help you some with some of the features of the vacuum system.

Good Luck.
