Thumbs down My AWD doesn't move

So Tuesday night, I ran into a curb with my 1999 A4 1.8T. 219,000 miles. 5 speed.

Left front wheel took the impact. Wheel is pushed back 4 inches causing it to rub on the inside fender liner. Here's the question...

Why can I not move my car?

I can put it into any gear and let out the clutch completely and it doesn't move or anything. Thoughts?

Probably broke the CV joint or disconnected the drive axle or something along those lines. With Quattro if one wheel has a broken axle the car won't move as all power gets sent to that one wheel.

You probably pulled the axle out of the joint.

^What they said. A broken axle will disable the car.

SAME thing happened to me......You might not be able to see it but most likely the axle and the bearing got disconnected ALSO you'll need both lower control arms, sway bar end link & you MIGHT have a bent sway bar...

Upon visual inspection, it looks like all of the ECS Tuning suspension parts, lower control arms, upper control arms and the sway bar, are all intact and not bent or out of whack. The only thing that it looks like is I'll need to completely disassemble the front end on the drivers side and break it all down. I will most definitely need a new cv shaft as it only spins occasionally. I wouldn't be surprised also if the wheel bearing is shot too. I wonder if I wouldn't be better served to try and find a new knuckle? Salvage yard maybe?

You definitely need control control arms.....That's why the wheel is pushed back into the fender liner trust me

Well thank you all for your help! I had to replace the front lower rear control arm as it was basically taco'd into a 90 degree angle. I am in the process of replacing that and the axle shaft in this beautiful 3 degree weather we are having here right now. Thanks again!!
