Hi everybody. I have a 2000 audi A4 1.8T Quattro and my friend has a 2001 bmw 330CI. Both cars are 5spd. Now, i know that his car is much faster than mine. My power is 150HP/150TQ and his is a V6225HP/214TQ. His car is stock. He's been talking **** about my car since the day that i bought it saying that my car is a piece of **** and i should trade it for a bmw and no matter what mods i do to it it's still would not take his beemer. I wanna prove him wrong, so what mods can i do to my car in order to take him and shut his big mouth. I have some saved up money that i wanna spend on the car. So far i put a racing clutch, light weight flywheel, lowered it 2 inches(bilstein shocks and neuspeed race springs), and i just put 17" S4 rims. My next mod is going to be a GIAC chip. What else i can do it besides an exhaust and intake? Thanks..

 

You have the potential to uprgrade your turbo. Even if he chips his, gets exhaust and intake, he won't gain really any horsepower, you could gain hundreds.

wait I thought the 3series only cam with the I6? but yeah the only way to really shut him up is gonna be to get a bigger/badder turbo. and by big and bad I mean BAT **** CRAZY and then Rape his little Bavarian POS



In all honesty I love BMW's too, but people who talk **** about other peoples cars especially BMW owners for some reason (maybe it's because they seem to do it the most) pis me off, and make me want a GroupB URQuattro soooooo bad so i can go kill them in every aspect of driving and then be like..."WHAT NOW B***H MY CAR IS 20 YEARS OLD AND YOU CAN"T EVEN KEEP UP????"

honestly not to burst your bubble, but unless your friend cant drive for ****, even with chip intake and exhaust he will still beat you. About 2 weeks ago i raced my buddy in his 03 225 (200hp i6) and we were just about dead even, who ever would get the jump (from a role) would jsut pull a head. IF we were both on it at the same time we would be neck in neck the eniter way. I have chip, dv,exhaust, snub ect.... so Vs a 330i i think a k04 at the mininum would be needed to beat him + you already got a upgraded clutch anyway so maby you think think about going a little bigger with your turbo. But as it stands he would beat you with those mods.
