Angry This must be the Honda enthusiast in me but..

I need some opinions here. I will glady share mine but hopefully not offend:

18" rims look too damn big on a b5! why do people think big *** rims look good on Audi b5's? With the car dumped on a nice set of 17" wheels the wheel well feels so much more proportional then a big *** set of 18's or 19's!

Just my opinion... but audi b5's with big rims just look goofy. i wish audi's were as easy to style w. rims as my old honda's were!!!

i guess this all comes out of frustration because i need a good set of wheels for my b5 avant but am prob gonna go with some rs4 reps.

yeah. It's mainly just a personal pref. type deal.
I personally wanna roll on 18's 8" fronts and 9" in the back width wise.
That may not be reasonable but it'll be many months before i see rims on my shopping list so for now imma just dream.

yeah i kinda agree with you there. 17" are as big as id go. audi are german engineered you hae to modify them right or they look like crap, just like most other german bahnblasters.

guess it depends on style of rim. a lot of 18's don't look to big at all, i love mine. imo 18's are not to big but the limit on a B5.

Well the body and wheel well is bigger on a B5 A4 than it is on a civic. So 18's would look almost the same as 16's on a civic, you just have to match the dimensions and trick the eye.

I think 18s can easily work. 19s sometimes.. I've seen some pull off 20s...

aledelic is that car in your signature yours? those are 16's right? stock 16 fat five wheels? that kind of proves my point if so.

17's work, 18's are clean, 19's are pushin it, 20's are tacky

like auditech said, you have to match the wheel size to the rest of the dims of the car... these chassis' have some large wheel wells and require a slightly larger wheel to fill them up properly.
