Moving APR chip from old to new ECU

Moving APR chip from old to new ECU
As some of you guys know, the ECU in my wife's car died and I ended up getting a replacement from Ebay. Once my mechanic installed the new ECU, I got a P0600 CEL code which I was able to fix through VAGCOM setting (i.e. - new ECU came from an automatic whereas my wife's car is a 5 speed, changing the VAGCOM to make it match made the CEL go away).
So anyway, I have the old ECU with the APR chip in it. The problem is, which one is it? I thought this chip was supposed to be a "piggy back" of some sort, but it's not obvious to me which chip it is. For those of you that know, can you point it out to me in the pic?
Regardless, I doubt that I will be able to remove it from this old ECU and put it into the new ECU. Who can do this for me?

APR will do this for you. If you're not the original purchaser of the chip, it will cost you $150 for a warranty transfer.
FYI, I'm pretty sure the '01s just got a flash, not an actual soldered on chip. Either way, send the old ECU to APR, and they will verify the ECU is dead (and not their fault), and if it is dead, they should reflash the new ECU for you.
