Well, what do you consider BAT? I think that upwards 450chp is huge. A GT35R is definitely a BAT, even though it's considering a "medium-frame" turbo. This is relative to our cars, so I even consider a GT3076R a big *** turbo. Not a ghetto-booty turbo, just a white girl with curves that make a brotha go "whoaaaaaaaa". You know?

well i've heard even a 3071r called a BAT, but if its not offered in a T4 flange, i wouldn't really consider it a BAT. A gt35r, while its a montrous turbo for our little 1.8, its not that big.

In perspective to automotive as a whole? Definitely not. Then again, the GT3782 84trim 1.12a/r is a T3 flange, but it's got a flow capacity of 550+hp. Is that a BAT?

Oopsies, didn't see the offer of a T4 flange for that particular turbo. But still, I think the difference between a BT and a BAT, and even a BMFT is dependant on what kind of power you can get from supporting mods, and what you consider to be mammoth in power. Personally, I think that for a 1.8L engine that came stock with 150hp, an increase to 400hp is decently large.

yeah....well...I have a K03 w/ a T4 flage, now what?...lol

to the original post....

I would do motor/tranny and snub all at the same time...the snub will vibrate alot for about 1k miles and then it should turn into a pretty mild vibe (you will barely notice it)

besides that, you may also want to look into diff mounts as well, I have heard that it reallt cleans up the "hump" while shifting....

well, gl!

yeah i priced out some tranny mounts as well but those are a little pricy from what i found, and i never really thought about rear diff. mounts. the turbo i was most interested in was the gt2871r? i think it was. which isnt BAT but its some nice power. (im pretty sure thats the turbo i was looking at, it can produce ~450chp w/ mods right?)

hmmm....I would just replace the motor/tranny mounts with brand new oem mounts...two OEM motor mounts will run you 100 and two OEM tranny mounts will run you 40

although 034 makes their own aftermarket stuff, they seemed a bit much to me, but my audi is my DD and I never go to the track or autocross, just school and work...lol

I do have a Stern snub, and I really like it so far, there is a noticeable difference in vibration at idle, but I don't mind it.

you should look into a t3/t4, they are easier on your internals and can push enourmous power

well, gl!

and yeah, I have yet to replace my rear diff mount, but I have heard that the aftermarket on does help ( I think it is also made by Stern through purems.com)
