Default motor mount Q

i was thinking about ordering a snub mount from 034 sometime this week or next, and i was just wondering for everyone that has one is it a good idea for a daily driver? is the engine vibration that much more noticable or do you just feel it a little more??

my vibrations actually just disappeared yesterday. dont know what thats all about, but im happy. and i took it on several drives to make sure it wasn't just a fluke like last time, and it seems to be gone.

people seem to have less problems with the apr one tho

yeah i would definitely try it. i just slightly loosened the 3 bolts, revved it slightly a few times, let it idle for 5 min, turned it off. then tightened it down completely. vibration was still there but less than last time. drove it for a few days, vibration gone.

so do you guys regret doing it at all? im just not sure if i should wait to do it until the car is not a d.d. after reading your BT thread chaos, ive decided that ~450 hp is the number id be happy with so im sure i would have to put new mounts in at that point. im kinda just looking for a few things to get started with so when i have the money for the BT theres not a bunch of little things i forgot to do. my budget while still in school is about $150 a week, and im trying to get something new almost every week, but this week is brake pads, so i was thinkin the snub next week.

dont regret it in the least. even when it was vibrating. and if your does vibrate, you actually get accustomed to it. i didn't even really notice it stopped vibrating until i stopped hearing the shifter panel squeak and seeing the mirrors vibrating. and my system vibrates my car way more anyways[8D]

Are you saying I'd get wet too? ... you'd like that, wouldn't you. I know you stared at that nude pic I sent you ([sm=drlove.gif])

Anyways, to keep this on-topic... if you're doing motor-mounts, also considering doing transmission mounts (automatic users) and rear differential mounts, with your BAT upgrade.
