Vac line from DV to intake is disconnected

Is there supposed to be a noticable sound with a stock intake and a forge DV? Just did an install on my buddys b6 a4 and you can't hear the DV at all...holds boost just fine, just real quiet.

Yeah it's supposed to be quiet. If you had an intake you'd be able to hear a little of the internal venting of the DV, but I don't recommend it. The stock airbox is totaly underestimated.
