Missing ABS sensor - can I drive?

you don't have to take the hub out. just pull the sensor out and if it leaves the sleeve in there, just take a pair of pliers and rip it out and then clean it up. then antiseize the new sensor and install it.

THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NO NEED TO DO ANY DRILLING

Well, the rear one did NOT come out without drilling, including soaking (PB Blaster et al, several times, over night), massive hammering, turning, wiggling.

I will try again with the front left one, and hope you are right!

Yeah there was no way mine would come out any other way then tapping it out from the inside (which deformed it), or drilling it out.
