you wouldn't happen to have the exact reseller name from whom you got the Vag-Com cables on ebay? I have found that ebay can be a hit/miss sort of experience and unless you get the right seller your results can vary drastically.

all 3 worked with this one version of vag-com software but did'nt work with a different version software,that is how i know for a fact,that hardware isn't the issue,its the software.
