A8s are a pretty kickass upgrade for the money aren't they? Hard to beat the bang for the buck.

It almost makes less sense NOT to get them when replacing the front rotors.

So I knew itd be the last chance to show how my cars sitting before winter mode so went and got some pictures that I thought turned out pretty nice.

Is there any downside to running spacers in the winter? ie spacers rusting?

All i can think of is, around here they sand the roads a lot, and with a wider stance you'll kick up a lot more sand on your car and scratch your paint.

Some spacers are made of aluminum and some are made of steel. The aluminum does not rust but it oxides (almost like rusting). And obviously, if you have the steel ones, they do rust over time.

Great pictures BTW. Did you raise up the car? I could've sworn your car was a lot lower before.

Ah I probably won't risk it then, not really worth going for stance with winter tires....

But thanks! I wish I was lower... I'm still just on H&R race's, trying to get some front coilover adapters this winter.

I run spacers during the winter and have no problem.

Meatflush in the winter ftw.

^ Guess what, so do I. And I keep my car at the same height during winter.

Can't wait to see this car a bit lower. It's gonna look sick!

Thanks guys! I got a few more things in mind and this car should be pretty different by the end of next summer

My brother put my winter wheels on me this past weekend (leaving the spacers on) and I love how it turned out.

Got a new europlate picked out for the winter also, got a question though has anyone seen/done a grey europlate? I like how its more subtle than the white plate but I'd like to see how one looks before I pull the trigger.
