Well I just went ahead and bought the TurboXS from a seller on eBay for $107 shipped. I figure I'll get it Monday afternoon. Then I'll go about adjusting it.

iicr the min boost it can run is 16psi so it would only work for people that are chipped

buschur racing also just came out with an inline mbc that has gotten great reviews on evos and should work for audis just as well
It is nice, BUT... its used on turbos far bigger than a ko3.

Whats the stock wastegate set to?

But im talking about it reacting to fast. That is the main reason people on here hated mbc's for so long. People dont buy the right kind for a fast spooling turbo and wonder why as soon as they hit the gas the turbo hits 20psi and get that jerky feeling. The only way to increase boost and not have this is by going with a bleed style mbc.

Wow! I love this thing. It works soooo well. My boost seems to be almost instantaneous. Very easy install and simple to dial it in. I would highly recommend this.

this is one downside to an MBC on a k03/k04 car

You are ALMOST right. The b&s helps build boost faster but the bleed makes it come on smoother. That is why the mbc is worth the $100 paid for it over a spikey/jerky b&s alone.
