Manual tranny fluid change
Looked underneith the tranny at the drain plug and could not figure out how to take the plug out. the plug head looks kinda funky. is there a special tool to get it out. is on a 98 1.8t with a 5 speed. can somebody help?

it's audi, of course there's a special tool. ecs/purems should have it. search manual tranny fluid, there's quite a few threads about it. your supposed to use a vagcom to measure temp as well

Should be a 16mm 12-point triple square with taper proof hole. Not sure if ECS or Purems has it on their sites but you can find it on ebay for $14.75
