Bro, glad to see you made it back home safely.

I was wondering where you were since you were MIA for a little while especially from the morning coffee thread.

Good hearing that you're back and ready to work on the car again!

welcome back! if you had some oil in your pcv valve it would hurt much to take off your DV and make sure there isn't any that made it that far down, mine did!!! As far as the gasket you should be able to pick one up at any auto store.

AZ didn't have any gaskets that would fit the 3 inch TP. My DP is only 2.5, but the guy recommended some copper gasket spray, said it should work fine. I have to admit, I was a bit skepical, but it appears to be holding up well. I do think I have an exhaust leak from the mani to the turbo, though. When I did the Seafoam last night, I started getting some white smoke from there. Anyway, a day under the hood of my car was great, and she fired right up with the new battery. After a bit of spirited driving this morning, still no CEL, so the anti-foulers are working great. Eventually I'll get VAG-COM and clear my Air Bag light, install the right break pads, and I won't have any more lights! Next on the list is the CA's. The squeeking is horrendous now!

Thanks for the well wishes, guys, it's great to be home!
