Agreed it wont be that much of a difference over your sport...
This is said so much in this forum and im gonna say it again. Get Coilovers they are adjustable and if you dont want the aggresive ride(stiff) then they have soft ones too.
I just ordered some facelift headlights and the 6000K VVME HID kit. Next i will order coilovers and put them on by this summer(dont know what kind yet)

Its Preference or the fact that you oil pan keeps getting dinged up or semi-ripped off.
Or are you asking about how low of springs till the struts ruin themselves?

If you can fit a piece of paper under it, it's too high.

Depending on your streets you would probably want to get a skid plate, or be ghetto and find a nice street sign to bolt on under your car. You may need to roll the fenders a bit. Lots of people go lower than 3 inches too.

How do you know if you have the stock sport suspension? I've only had my car for a couple of months, and I bought it from the second owner.

It had the sport wheels and the sport steering wheel, but I'm wondering if the sport steering wheel was added later, because the +/- buttons on the wheel don't work.
