You need a new siggy sir!

And here's some motivation to get those panels cut!

I've got half a mind to throw some race springs on it and be done with it
Don't get me wrong I love my race springs, but if all you want is low then the springs just tease you

jesster's car was nice but I didn't really care for it. I'm pretty sure he didn't do any cutting. I'd like it a lot more if it had more tire and was lower..

I feel not good about doing this. the metal is so thick and it just seems like it shouldn't be messed with. I only got the driver's side a half inch lower from all that and hopefully it doesn't need much more...

If you get any lower you can do what my buddy was going to do on his slammed c10 and install square steel tubing in the rear end so sparks fly every time you hit a bump.

No, I read Jesster's EuroTuner article. He's got the upper parts cut out, including modifying his rain tray. I think there was a pic where his control arms are where the ECU was.

Alex those are some big holes lol. are you gonna try to cover them up or brace that area at all or just leave it?

See post 100. I'm 99% sure I've seen other pics of air ride audi's with the control arms full out of the wheel well so they could lay frame. I'm not saying you should go that low, but I dont think you should worry about structural rigidity. Its not like you're racing it and the majority of the stress is side to side, held together by subframe and firewall and such.

I used his car for a reference. but taj franz also had shortened bilsteins with aerosport bags just like me so if I cut like his, I should be just as low. then I'll be satisfied
