Lower trim
My lower trim has been falling off on my 2001 a4 and Ive been debating on ordering a new one or taking them all off. Does anyone have pictures of a b5 without the trim? Also how would I go about removing the white clips that hold the trim on?
Thanks

You can get new pieces of trim at ECS or PureMS at a decent price. To take the clips off all you need is a pair of pliers and brake them off but then you will have the stubs that hold the clips on left. It doesnt look too bad if you shave those off and paint the spots where you would grind them off.

hey srlito i see that you got a euro plate on your audi and you live in cali. have you had any problems with the cops? i just got a german plate from my friend and idk if i should put it by it self or put it under the cali plate.

That car has Illinois plates so the cops dont bother me. it also has the same thing on it as the rear plate. i had one on the 90 too but that also has North Dakota plates so the cops dont bother unless they stop you for something thats actually worth their time.

Its not exactly common but people do shave the lowers. If done well it looks really good but if you're looking for an easier alternative to replacing them you're looking in the wrong place. Check out this thread:
