So I hop in the car this morning, fire it up, and as usual scare everyone with my cat back straight pipe Car starts kinda rough, but I attested it to not holding the key at start long enough. However, after that things start to get weird.

Instead of it holding about 1200rpm like it usually does on a cold start, it misses a bit and hunts between a grand and 1200. Brush it off and start going up the street slowly like normal. However the car decides it doesnt want to play nice today, and starts hesitating/bogging, then would surge a bit. It repeats this as I go along (about 10mph) and once I get into the gas a bit more for a hill, it clears right up and haven't had an issue since. No codes, no lights

 

Same issue here, I'd like to see some opinions on this one for sure

 

Tomorrow morning, I'm gonna crank it MAFless and see if it changes, because this makes me wonder..

A4 2.8 quattro i got codes p1129 p1127 p1141 i replaced the purge valve now i get these codes.this all happened after i got exhaust welded does anybody know what they are

 

I know it has to do with fuel too lean but where do you start

 

did you recently unplug your throttle body? that could cause that. umm.... misfires? bad o2 sensors. fuel filter? clogged injector? boost leak? just throwing out some options

 

I i did not do anything i replaced purge valve because the code came up.that is fine i was driving it last night and when i was shifting into 3rd gear it lost power and the light came on. It must be some air problem.

 

I think the p1141 is the maf sensor i am going to check it today and also look for leaks.if anybody has any other ideas please let me know thanks
