The only gauge setup I would get would be this one since it looks stock, but I can't see myself spending 150 bones for a damn boost gauge.

I think AWE's vent gauge looks much cleaner, I picked up mine on eBay for $130. Still more than you would like to spend though I see.

If you either of you would like to try an OEM N75 valve that I know works, I just replaced mine with a race valve and could ship it out to either of you to test if you'd like.

I'd like it back just because whenever I sell the car I plan to put it back to fully stock.

Thanks for offering man. I wouldn't want to worry about having to send it back though lol. I called Carquest and can get a new one for $60 which is the "F" revision, so that seems like a really good price.

I do want a boost gauge, but that's after the n75.

If you're going to have a temperamental turbo car like a 1.8T, spend the money and get the gauge. You need it.

I was thinking about getting one for the steering column like that but I thought that it might be annoying if it blocked the screen that shows how many miles of gas I have left lol. They are a lot cheaper than the gauge pod for the vent though (I have no idea why). I think I might go that route though, it looks nice. How much did that run you?
