Looking for Shop Or HELP!!! My Brain is turning into soup!!!
Does anyone know of a reliable shop in Connecticut Danbury area or close to it? I have a misfire on cylinder 1 and 6 I've changed my MAS sensor my Coolant temp sensor and its also saying my Air temp sensor is bad. I have the sensor and I bought a new bracket but the old one was just hanging and I don't know were the bracket blots on to. Not to mention I have a leak in my Power steering, it looks like to be a hose but it could be that cooler thing in the front of the car. any help would be appreciated.

Agreed. When I read his post, I skipped over the random alarm and sensor codes. I'm simply concerned about the misfires.
#6
I had the codes read about 2 weeks ago. I have the car for a few months and did the Timing belt and changes the Spark plugs and wires. the car did have a blown head gasket and I replaced the head gasket on both sides. about the time I replaces the timing Belt, wires, plugs and Head gasket I also replaces the Coil pack (this is the 2.8 30v engine so it has the 1 multiple coils in the front) the car ran great up until the end of August when i started to have these problems out of the blue.

Pull the plugs and look in the cylinders for possible traces of coolant washing through them (they would look very clean inside). Inspect the plugs of the misfiring cylinders and compare them to the others. Also, inspect the coil pack connections. If they are loose or the rubber gasket is missing or deformed, they will never make good contact.

Thank you all for your input, today out of curiosity I swapped the old coil pack with the new one that I had installed and the problem went away. Seems like the new coil pack went bad. Gonna have to call and get it exchanged. But how bad is that? That new coil pack isn't even 3 months old....grrrr
