those of you who have hids which ones did you get? i think i want 8000K

I had 6000, so cool, not too white, not to blue, but thats personal, I saw a back a4 I think they where 12000, they looked pretty good,

You would use H1s for your halos. But it is not recommended. The headlights weren't made to support HIDs and their heat from them so they might end up melting or something.. I have heard of people putting HIDs in those headlights but it's pretty risky.

4300k is what OEM HID's use.

6000k is a bright white with a tint of blue.

8000k is blue

10000k is blue/purple.

You'll get the most light output from 4300k and the useable output gets lower the higher k you go.

Would it be possbile to convert my timing belt to a chain or gear drive?

soo, do the stock lenses from the 98.5' have the right light beam for these lights? did they use the same housings for the OEM HIDs? wait did they even have HIDs as an option in 98.5'?

well wouldnt it technically be the same as this

I have seen those with HIDs included and it makes me wonder the same. Maybe those ones are made to handle them? Or maybe they won't actually even work right. I dont know. Many ebay sellers say that you should not put HIDs in their headlights. I'm pretty sure we have the same halos and it even says on them somewhere not to put HIDs in. You can try though and if it works well for you I'll probably do the same

yea, ill probly just get 4300K so they dont get too hot and explode in my car lol

oh and yea your right.
