Ok I have a 99 2.8 a4 and have been having some issues.

It first started a week ago. I went to work locked my car with my remote and came out a few hours later. My remote stopped working and the unlock/lock button inside the car wouldnt work. I unhooked the battery in hopes it was just some crazy computer error. It worked for a little bit.

Here is what is going on now. Remote still doesnt work as a I tried to reprogram it. The button inside the car still will not lock or unlock the car. The trunk is the only way to turn the alarm off but there is no way to unlock the car except to go to the driver side door. Usually the trunk will unlock all doors also but the only thing it is doing is turning the alarm off. The alarm still works but it engages itself whenever it wants to (meaning I can disarm the alarm at the trunk but then it will rearm itself right away.)

Please any advice would be great!!
