haha true, but I feel the same would be true for city like Chicago too. Its not that we're used to it, we just have the infastructure(tons of plow trucks) that get this stuff cleared off the roads quickly. The last snow day here (for working folk, not school closures) we had almost 4' fall in like 9 hours.

Never been there myself, I've just heard from people who've been stationed there, many of whom were disappointed at Ft. Drum when they still had to come to work to shovel 2 feet of snow, and no winter wheels. Nothing scarier than driving in upstate NY during the winter near a car with southern plates and performance wheels.

haha that how it was for the first real snow of the year. i had my low pro tires and no intention of buying winter tires!!
