No.
Regardless, what kind of performance gains can I expect from an FMIC? Hp gains?
None, it will just reduce heatsoak and keep the power you have when it's cold out, when it's hot.
And lastly, how much can I expect to spend assuming I do all the labour myself and don't mind hunting around for cheap parts.
I spent $200 on my ebay fmic and pipes, and another $10 or so on the mounting hardware.

I added maybe 6" to my intercooler piping with my fmic....

What do you do with the turbo to SMIC pipe after you install the FMIC? Its heavy, so naturally removal would be best, but it has the housing for the front snub mount. Does it have to stay?

I was under the impression it just stayed in there. I personally havent seen anybody remove it...
