Leaking differentials?

leaking is not good, they dont come from the factory leaking. it is true that many do leak, and most leaks are not severe enough to spend the money it would take to fix, so most people will just leave them and top up the fluid every once in a while. if he told you that it is normal and ok for them to be leaking, that is a lie. and they wont leak no matter what, you can always fix the leak. it is a common problem, but not something 'normal' that you shouldnt even think about.

My mechanic said they were leaking pretty bad. If I continue to top off fluid is it possible to do any damage in the future?
