They state that the wheel is 1mm bigger than the ko4-015 wheel, so they either make their own or harvest a ko3s wheel. So they do have something bigger, all be it 1mm bigger than standard ko4. Still cant see this being to worth it unless the person only really wants another 10-15whp and 15-25wtq but is ok spending another $1k for stock like driving and durability.

i actually talked to them awhile ago and they can go even bigger then that. they can put in a wheel thats 3-4mm bigger then the k04-015 and can put out roughly 250-260 hp with the right sw.

That's kinda what I am after and not afraid to spend the funds to get there. The alternative of going BT is not one that I can really pursue for my family car (nor would I want to as my car is a Tip, although I have a suitable GT2x sitting in my garage right now, waiting to be rebuilt).

Right now, have a brand new K04-15 and a used K03s from an A3 sport (transverse), in my possession. I also have a broken K03-029 on it's way to me. I have the parts necessary to get it swapped over and complete the conversion. Alternatively, I can rebuild the k03s so that would fit our car's engine mounting.

Problem is in building the k04"s", I could never find the correct K03s longitutional housing to bolt on to the k04, blower. So I would therefore have to have the k04 housing machined down to accept the 8 bladed k03s compressor, and then have it all balanced up. I can say after looking at both of them, the k03s is a much nicer wheel. At least 3mm larger than the k04, even apparent to the naked eye, 8 blades instead of 12, with the blade angle being much more aggressive. I am thinking about taking the measurements and comparing them all out.

My goal here is a real world 225hp/250lbft and above all else, absolute reliability. It is very tempting to build a K04"s", dyno it out and tune it up, but I dunno if I can go through with it.
